Who can vote in Michigan?

To vote in Michigan, you must:

  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be a resident of Michigan
  • Be at least 18 years old by Election Day
  • Be registered to vote
  • Not currently be serving a sentence in jail or prison

You can pre-register before age 18 if you will be eligible by Election Day.


How to register to vote
